Fake job racket busted, man held

LUCKNOW: The Special Task Force (STF) of the Uttar Pradesh police have arrested a man posing as an Army Major and running a fake job racket.

STF sources said on Thursday that Mohammad Yunus Khan of Lucknow was arrested from cantonment area and some fake certificates and passports were recovered from him.

Cheating youngsters

Yunus would accept money from youngsters with a promise to facilitate their recruitment in the Army.

He had reportedly travelled to Saudi Arabia and Malaysia with the fake passports acquired by furnishing fake documents and details.

32 blank forms found

Four application forms of Central Command Headquarters, AMC, with a stamp of Major M.Y. Khan and 32 blank forms were also found along with a fake PAN card and false credit and debit cards of various banks. — PTI
