Incumbent R.D.O M. Raghava Rao says he has not got any orders relieving him NARSARAOPET: In a curious turn of events, newly appointed Revenue Divisional Officer K. Srinivasulu has been forced to defer taking charge on Thursday under dramatic circumstances. Incumbent R.D.O M. Raghava Rao said he had not got any orders relieving him. A Group-1 officer belonging to the 2007 batch, Mr. Srinivasulu arrived on Thursday to assume charge but minutes before the formal taking charge, he found to his surprise that the incumbent R.D.O had not been relieved. Sources said the R.D.O, considered close to powers that be managed securing a stay on his transfer from the State Government. Mr. Raghava Rao told The Hindu on Thursday that he was in a meeting and had asked the Mr. Srinivasulu to wait for half an hour. Meanwhile, the latter got a ‘message’ and left the place. Mr. Rao insisted that he had not received any relieving order. District Collector B.
