GITAM B-School to go global

VISAKHAPATNAM: GITAM Institute of International Business (GIIB) is raring to go international with student and faculty exchange programmes, said its director V.K. Kumar. The 9th Convocation of GIIB was held at GITAM University campus on Saturday. Addressing a media conference after the convocation, Prof. Kumar said that an MoU was signed by GIIB with the Burgundy School of Business in France and the International University of Paris for student and faculty exchange programmes and for collaborative research. He said that an MoU was also entered into with the Intelligroup (P) Ltd., for SAP training and subsequent recruitment of students.

GIIB also has plans to start an Executive MBA (International) programme for students in Hyderabad and a three month global entrepreneurship programme besides laying more emphasis on executive education, research and consultancy.
