One killed, another hurt as earth caves in

SRIVILLIPUTTUR: A worker, M. Shanmugavel (60) was killed and another, K. Pandi (30), sustained injuries after they got buried while scooping out sand in a tank near here on Saturday. They were loading sand in a tractor in the Pudukulam tank near Poovani. When they were digging the soil in a depth of around six feet, the earth caved in burying them.
