A seven-year-old girl died on the spot when a pillar of her thatched house collapsed on her at Vidyadharapuram on Sunday. Two boys escaped with injuries. According to the One-Town police, Mastan Bi, daughter of Hajeera, a daily labourer, was playing with her neighbours Haneez and Younus in her house, when a cement pillar collapsed on them, killing Mastan Bi on the spot. Haneez and Younus escaped with injuries.
