36 fined for ticket-less travel

Thiruvananthapuram: An Income Tax Officer in Thodupuzha, a Health Service official in Thiruvananthapuram and college students were among the 37 persons nabbed and fined for ticket-less travel during snap checks conducted by Kerala State Road Transport Corporations squads in the State on Monday. The fine collected from them came to Rs.18,500. It asked the passengers not to forget to take tickets and retain them through the journey.
