Rangarajan, S.M. Krishna sworn in RS members

NEW DELHI: The former Economic Advisory Council Chairman, C. Rangarajan, and the former Karnataka Chief Minister, S. M. Krishna, were sworn in Rajya Sabha members by Chairman Hamid Ansari here on Monday.

Dr. Rangarajan was nominated to the Upper House, and Mr. Krishna was elected from Karnataka as a Congress candidate.

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairman K. Rahman Khan, Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs V. Narayanaswamy and Minister of State for Labour Oscar Fernandes attended the ceremony.
