KOZHIKODE: Etihad Airways will try to work out a tourism package in association with the Government of Kerala. Etihad Airways vice-president (sales) Adrian Parkes told reporters here on Tuesday that the company started daily flight services from Karipur airport near Kozhikode from August 2.

Kerala Tourism Director M. Sivsankar said the presence of Etihad Airways had enhanced connectivity to the State. Etihad had flights to nine cities in Europe where the State government was intending to organise road shows from November this year to February next year.

The daily services to Kozhikode, operated by Etihad, depart from Abu Dhabi at 11.35 p.m. to arrive here 5 a.m. the next day. The return flight departs from Kozhikode at 5.45 p.m.
