Social change possible, says Mayor

Mayor Mallika Begum on Wednesday said social change was possible if the youth played an active role in society building exercise. She addressed a meeting organised in connection with the fortnight-long celebrations kicked off by the Nehru Youth Centre at Indira Gandhi Municipal Corporation stadium, as part of the Rajiv Gandhi birth anniversary. Nehru’ Youth Centre’s zonal director R. Natarajan presided.

At the Congress party office at Gandhinagar, Animal Husbandry Minister Mandali Budha Prasad addressed a gathering as part of the Rajiv Gandhi jayanthi celebrations.
