CHENNAI: Union Bank of India on Thursday opened a new branch in Chennai. Located at Velacheri, the bank was inaugurated by K. S. Srinivasan, Director of the bank. Addressing presspersons, he said customer centricity was the core of the bank’s approach to business. According to M. P. Varghese, Deputy General Manager, the bank had 157 branches in Tamil Nadu with 49 in Chennai.
