HYDERABAD: The A.P. Panchayat Sarpanches Association has given a call to sarpanches to participate in a march to the Assembly when it is in session on August 28.The association founder president and MLC Y. Babu Rajendra Prasad stated in a press release that the State was indifferent to their problems which included delay in devolution of powers to panchayats. Mr. Prasad also sought withdrawal of the move to construct a room for Mahila Mandali chairperson of the village next to that of the sarpanch in the panchayat building.
