Eicher, Volvo finalise deal

NEW DELHI: Eicher Motors on Friday said it had finalised the joint venture deal with Swedish truckmaker A B Volvo for making trucks and buses. Eicher Motors, which has transferred its commercial vehicle business to the new joint venture company, V E Commercial Vehicles, said the operations of the new joint venture company would be considered effective from July 1.
