Killed as lorry hits motorcycle

TAMBARAM: A 41-year-old man was killed on the spot when the motorcycle he was riding was hit by a lorry on Medavakkam Main Road on Friday.

Police said K.Muthukrishnan was working as a technician in a private firm on Rajiv Gandhi Salai. A resident of Nanmangalam near Tambaram, he was riding a motorcycle to work. At BHEL Nagar near Medavakkam, he was hit by a lorry carrying LPG cylinders. He sustained serious injuries and died on the spot.
