Rajahmundry: An unidentified person made a hoax call on Thursday midnight and put the police on tenterhooks.

According to DSP S. Saibaba, the caller around 12.50 a.m. had said that a bomb was placed in former Mayor M.S. Chakravarthi’s house. Immediately, the police along with a bomb disposal squad and sniffer dogs landed at the house only to realise later, that it was hoax call.
