DU student criminally assaulted

NEW DELHI: An 18-year-old Delhi University student was allegedly criminally assaulted by a businessman at Alipur here on Friday.

According to the police, Rakesh took the girl on his motorcycle from her house in the afternoon and allegedly criminally assaulted her at a secluded place.

The matter was reported to the police in the evening.

Police have registered a case after the medical examination of the girl confirmed the assault.

The accused is absconding.

The victim is pursuing Bachelor of Arts from the Delhi University through correspondence.
