VISAKHAPATNAM: Andhra University is conducting a special examination for the students who have joined B.E., B.Tech. and B.Arch. courses between 2002 and 2008 under the semester system and have failed in only one subject. The students are eligible to appear for the special examination if they have failed only in one subject in the I year-end, II and III year first and second semesters. The examination will be held on September 30 at the AU College of Engineering here only, according to Controller of Examinations K. Samrajyalakshmi. Eligible candidates have to register themselves for the examination where they have studied, by submitting photo copies of marks statements and by paying a fee of Rs.8,000, on or before Sept. 1. The examination application form can be downloaded from the AU website http://www.andhrauniversityinfo/exams/appl.html and an additional fee of Rs.30 has to be paid towards registration along with the exam fee. Duplicate hall tickets will be issued if needed on payment of Rs.50 in the shape of a demand draft drawn in favour of Registrar, Andhra University, Visakhapatnam. PG examinationsThe first and third semester examinations of M.A., M.Sc., M.Com., M.H.R.M., and B.B.A. I , III and V semesters of M.B.A. will be held during October-November. The third semester examinations will be held from October 27 to November 4 and the first semester examinations from Nov. 11 to 20. The last date for payment of fee for the third semester examination is September 29 without late fee and October 4 with a late fee of Rs.1,000 while for the first semester examination it is October 6 and October 10 respectively. Late applications will be accepted with a penal fee of Rs.2,000 till one week before the commencement of examinations subject to the condition of availability of question papers.
