Stolen truck recovered

Chandigarh: Haryana Police on Sunday arrested a person allegedly involved in a theft case and recovered a truck loaded with stolen iron scrap from his possession at the bus stand of village Bandhni, district Kurukshetra.

The suspect was identified as Randhir Singh alias Dheera of Pewoha, a police spokesman said here.

He said that during interrogation, Singh had “confessed” to having committed the theft of the loaded truck bearing Haryana registration number from Mayapuri, Delhi a few days back.
