Jawan commits suicide in J&K

Jammu: A jawan on Sunday committed suicide by consuming some poisonous substance in the district, official sources said.

Ashwani Kumar of Jammu and Kashmir Light Infantry (JKLI) had gone to his village in Gaddi in Jidiyan belt of Jammu district to perform the last rites of his father. The 24-year-old jawan later consumed poison and died on way to hospital.
