Koda rules out support to JMM

Ranchi: Ruling out independents’ support to Jharkhand Mukthi Morcha (JMM) chief Shibu Soren’s endeavour to form a government, caretaker Chief Minister Madhu Koda of Jharkhand on Sunday warned that it would not be a cakewalk for Mr. Soren and said he was pondering over whether to continue in the UPA or take a different course.

“I will neither support the JMM nor join any government. I am looking into the future and thinking whether to be in the UPA or not,” Mr. Koda told journalists here.

Mr. Koda said he was ready to contest elections from his Jaganathpur constituency if necessary. — PTI
