MEG beats BEML

Bangalore: Defending champion MEG defeated BEML 43-26 in the State `A’ division basketball league tournament that commenced at the Sree Kanteerava Indoor Stadium courts here on Monday.

MEG 43 (Sirajuddin 11, Manikandan 8) bt BEML 26 (Ramakanth 12), ht: 28-11; Vijaya Bank 76 (Roshan 12, Ashraf Ali 10, Srinivas Gowda 10) bt JSC 29 (Vipul 8), ht: 28-15.
