Rajaseekharan memorial championships

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The R. Rajaseekharan memorial junior State badminton championships will be held at the Sri Moolam Club indoor courts from August 27 to 31.

Competition will be held in team (inter-District), singles and doubles in boys and girls sections respectively.

Around 100 players are expected to take part in the tournament which is sponsored by Popular Hyundai. Internationals H.S. Prannoy and P.C. Thulasi are also expected to take part in the championships.

The Kerala State team for the junior Nationals will be chosen from this tournament.

Imported Yonex AS 2 shuttles will be used in the championship which is being organised by Thiruvaanthapuram District badminton association.
