Judgement reserved

A Division Bench comprising Justice Elipe Dharma Rao and Justice R. Subbiah of the Madras High Court on Monday reserved its judgement on the dispute over disposing of 879.811 tonnes of municipal waste rotting at the Tuticorin port for the past three years.

The garbage had come to the port in September 2005 as part of 25,000 tonnes of mixed paper waste imported by ITC Limited (Paper Boards Division), Secunderabad from a private company in New Jersey.
