HYDERABAD: Hyderabad Public School (Ramanthapur) and Kendriya Vidyalaya (Begumpet) won the boys’ and girls’ titles respectively in the 20th Regal Sports inter-schools volleyball tournament for Naresh memorial trophy, here on Tuesday. In the boys’ final, HPS defeated Government High School (Yousuguda) 25-23, 10-25, 15-8 with Pradeep, Raju and Manoj combining well while for the loser Ajay, Sridhar and Venakatesh put up a good show. Sowmya, Ankitha Sharma and Sreelatha came up with impressive display to fashion KV Begumpet’s 25-16, 28-26 win over St. Pious High School. M. Anjan Kumar Yadav, MP, gave away the prizes.
