EL SEGUNDO (California): Chinese point guard Sun Yue has signed a multi-year contract with the Los Angeles Lakers. The 23-year-old, 6-foot-9 Sun averaged 6.8 points, 1.7 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.33 steals in six games for China in the Olympic Games in Beijing. — AP
