Payment of tax

BANGALORE: The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has asked assesses to pay the income tax dues in advance of the due date. A press release said the rush for remitting Income-tax dues had been heavy towards the due date and the bank found it difficult to cope with the pressure of receipts despite opening additional counters. Hence, the members of the public have to wait in queues at the bank. — Staff Reporter
