Chaupal inaugurated

NEW DELHI: Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit on Wednesday said completion of a large number of development works in East Delhi had led to improvement in the living standard of residents there.

Inaugurating a new “chaupal” at Old Seelampur (East), Ms. Dikshit said: “Development works in East Delhi are going on in a time-bound and phased manner. Hosting of Commonwealth Games-2010 in Delhi and construction of Games Village in East Delhi would enhance the prestige of the trans-Yamuna area.”
