Bharath and Sivanesan in big stand

Chennai: City II’s K. Bharath Shankar (126) and P.T. Sivanesan (98) added 162 runs for the second wicket against Districts 1 in the TNCA U-16 round-robin competition at the Murugappa ground here on Wednesday.

The scores: City II 347 for three in 90 overs (Mohan Babu 68, K. Bharath Shankar 126, P.T. Sivanesan 98, Ricky Jones 38 not out) vs. Districts I.

City IV 90 in 56.2 overs (M. Alagappan 26, P.S. Nirmal Kumar three for 17) vs. Districts II 63 for three in 34 overs.
