Terror suspect Jaber’s house searched

HYDERABAD: Police on Wednesday searched the house of Jaber, who was wanted in a terrorism-related conspiracy case, for over two hours at Saidabad. A computer and some books were seized from the house.

Jaber is the son of Moulana Naseeruddin, who was arrested by Gujarat police three years ago in a conspiracy case. Meanwhile, the Special Investigation Team of Hyderabad Detective Department spoke to the committee representatives of Ek Minar and Ek Khana mosques located in that area. The officials inquired if Abul Basher, who was recently arrested by Gujarat police on charge of masterminding Ahmedabad serial blasts, worked there earlier. Basher worked as teacher at a madarsa at Bandlaguda on city outskirts.
