Sakthi Vinayagar wins roller skating title

TUTICORIN: Sakthi Vinayagar Hindu Vidhyalaya bagged the roller skating championship in the inter-school competitions held here on Thursday.

While St. Thomas Matriculation Higher Secondary School won the second place, Vikasa Higher Secondary School bagged the third place.

Of the 120 participants, including 40 girls, A. Arun Ram of Sakthi Vinayagar Hindu Vidhyalaya and A. Rao of the same school won first prizes in sub-junior and junior sections respectively.

In the senior section, S. Palani of Tuticorin Port Trust Higher Secondary School bagged first prize.

District Sports Officer P. Shaju distributed the prizes.
