Thiruvananthapuram: UST Global, a U.S.-based IT services company with a software development centre on the Technopark campus here, has announced plans to expand its operations in Kochi and Chennai. Addressing a press conference here on Wednesday, Sajan Pillai, CEO, UST Global, said the company also had plans to open development centres in Chile and Mexico and expand the existing centres in Malaysia and the Philippines. Mr. Pillai said the construction of the company’s own campus in Thiruvananthapuram was expected to be complete by 2010. The investment in the first phase of the project would be approximately $50 million, he said. Mr. Pillai added that UST Global was looking at acquisitions in Europe and India, especially of companies in the ERP and business intelligence domains. © Copyright 2000 - 2009 The Hindu |
