More rewards for Sushil

NEW DELHI: Olympic bronze medal-winning wrestler Sushil Kumar was presented a cheque of Rs. 25 lakh by the Union Steel Minister Ram Vilas Paswan here on Thursday.

Mr. Paswan also hinted at starting a Talent Promotion Fund worth Rs. 10 crore for developing sporting talents among tribals. The Minister also assured support for Sushil and two other wrestlers who represented India at Beijing, Yogeshwar Dutt and Rajiv Tomar.

Meanwhile, real estate developer JMD Limited announced a luxury car for Sushil. “Irrespective of the price and brand, whatever car Sushil opts for, we will present it to him,” promised JMD’s Group Director Karan Bedi. — Special Correspondent
