Australia ‘A’ to arrive today

Bangalore: The Australia ‘A’ team, led by Simon Katich, will arrive here on Friday.

The team is scheduled to play two three-day matches against India ‘A’ at Bangalore and Hyderabad and later a triangular series that will also involve the New Zealand ‘A’ side.

The triangular series will be played at Hyderabad and Chennai.

Meanwhile, the India ‘A’ team will have a preparatory camp here from Friday as a prelude to the three-day match against Australia ‘A’ here from September 3 to 5.

The teams: India ‘A’: S. Badrinath (Capt.), Parthiv Patel, Shikhar Dhawan, Ajinkya Rahane, Mohammed Kaif, Cheteshwar Pujara, Robin Uthappa, Piyush Chawla, S. Sreesanth, Vinay Kumar, S.R. Tyagi, Dhawal Kulkarni, Mohnish Parmar, Sahil Kukreja, Amit Mishra. Coach: Dav Whatmore.
