Memorial meeting for Pakistani poet

NEW DELHI: The Outreach Programme of Jamia Millia Islamia in collaboration with the publishing arm of the university called “Maktaba Jamia” organised a memorial meeting for the noted Pakistani Urdu poet Ahmad Faraz this past week.

Faraz, who died recently, was a highly beloved figure on the Urdu mushaira circuit on the subcontinent and had been a frequent visitor to the Jamia campus.
