Officials fired for ‘swindling’ Rs. 1.33 crore

Chittoor: The social audit on the implementation of Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme in 56 mandals in the district had revealed that an amount of Rs.1.33 crore was misused by the concerned officers of different cadres. As many as 191 employees, including top officials, were removed from service by the government for committing malpractices.
