Ashok blames Congress for voter list errors

VIZIANAGARAM: TDP Polit Bureau member P. Ashok Gajapathi Raju held the Congress Government responsible for the blunders in enrolment of voters.

“Bloomers were noticed in all the constituencies in the State and it is unfortunate that names of the deceased were found in the list though death and birth registers are available with local bodies.”

Speaking at the party meeting here on Saturday, Mr. Ashok said that the system of checks and balances that are followed commonly in administration was reduced to “brokerage”.

As a result, the Congress Government, during its rule in the last four-and-half years, brought disrepute to the State, he said.
