Boy crushed to death

BANGALORE: A 14-year-old boy was run over by a Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation bus in Weavers’ Colony off Bannerghatta Road on Saturday morning.

According to the police, Raghavendra, an 8th Standard student of Ragigudda Sri Parasanna Anjaneya School, slipped and fell, coming under the wheels of the crowded bus.

Incensed residents of the colony chased the bus driver and assaulted him.
