Bank’s move to address coin shortage

To address the problem of shortage of coins, Andhra Bank on Saturday returned coins in exchange for Rs. 1 lakh to stall owners and people visiting rythu bazaar at Swaraj Maidan. Speaking on the occasion, Zonal Manager of the bank V.B. Bhagavathi said that coins for Rs. 5 lakhs were distributed so far at different rythu bazaars in the district. Bank AGM Appadu, currency manager Acharyulu and others were present.
