Districts-II is winner

CHENNAI: Districts-II was declared winner over City-III on the basis of its first innings lead in the TNCA round- robin under-16 cricket tournament here on Saturday.

The scores: At Jaya Engg: Districts-II 232 drew with City-III 228 in 89.5 overs (S.R. Vibhu 76, Ashwath 36, B. Gautham four for 50). Districts-II won on first innings lead.

At Murugappa: Districts-I 231 & 69 for two in 35 overs drew with City-I 325 for four in 90 overs (V. Ganga Sridhar Raju 47, Abishek Mehra 73, R. Ananth 88). City-I won on first innings lead.
