Sriram scores century

VISAKHAPATNAM: M.U.B. Sriram (113 not out, 13x4) and Revan and Bharadwaj with five wickets each, shared the limelight in the semifinals of the district under-16 inter-School cricket tournament at Ukkunagaram, here on Saturday.

Sriram and Revan helped Delhi Public School post a 149-win over Zinc School, while Bharadwaj’s bowling helped Viswodaya Public School edge out ZPP High School (Thotada) by 18 runs in the semifinals.

The scores: Delhi Public School 243 for seven in 50 overs (M.U.B. Sriram 113 n.o., B. Praveen 55, Shivank three for 25) bt Zinc Smelter 84 in 30 overs (Subhan 30, Revan five for 10, Adil three for 20); Viswodaya Public School 74 in 26.2 overs (Rajasekhar 26, A. Tulasi Rao three for 17) bt ZPP High School (Thotada) 56 in 20 overs (Bharadwaj five for 17, Yadav Kumar three for 23).
