Bagan salvages a draw

KOLKATA: A last gasp goal in injury-time helped reigning champion Mohun Bagan hold Mohammedan Sporting to a 1-1 draw in a premier division encounter of the Calcutta Football League on Sunday.

Theodore Wrobeh fetched the lead for Mohammedan Sporting off a penalty in the 44th minute.

Mohun Bagan found the equaliser in injury time through Habibur Rehman Mondal.

Mohun Bagan and Mohammedan Sporting remained tied on top of the table on 24 points each after the encounter but the former has played a match less. — Principal Correspondent
