Thiruvananthapuram: The Communist Party of India has urged its supporters to make the Left Democratic Front’s dharna in front of the Martyrs’ Column on Tuesday in protest against the Orissa atrocities a success. CPI(M) general secretary Prakash Karat and CPI State secretary Veliyam Bharghavan will participate in the function. In a statement here, the CPI district executive said the party would organise evening dharnas in the 14 Assembly constituencies in the district.— Special Correspondent
