One killed, 11 injured in accident

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A motorcyclist was killed and 12 others were injured when a KSRTC bus overturned after colliding with the motorcycle at Aramthanam, near Karate, in the district on Sunday evening. The rural police identified the deceased as Shijin, a resident of Pullampara. Shijin was a photographer attached to a private studio at Venjaramood. All the others injured, including a child, were travelling on the KSRTC bus.

The accident occurred at 3.30 p.m. when the KSRTC swerved to avoid a collision with the motorcycle. Of the injured, 11 were admitted to the Medical College Hospital and the child to SAT Hospital.
