It’s worth a smile

VISAKHAPATNAM: Smile beautification is no longer an alien concept in the ever-growing aesthetically-inclined Indian metros, said the founder President of Indian Academy of Aesthetic and Cosmetic Dentistry (IAECD) Sandesh Meyekar. Participating in a function organised by GITAM Dental College here on Monday, he said that the image-conscious have taken to smile rectification in a big way in a relatively new branch of dentistry – Esthetic Dentistry. Dr. Meyekar revealed that nanotechnology had improved the aesthetics and strength of the composite materials used for restoring teeth. GITAM Dental College Principal K. Gangadhara Prasad presided .
