Sub-Registrar’s office attacked

VISAKHAPATNAM: Enraged over the land they have been cultivating for a long time having been registered in the name of another person, farmers of Pedauppalam village in S. Rayavaram mandal allegedly attacked the Sub-Registar’s office at Nakkapalli on Monday. The farmers held a demonstration at S. Rayavaram and submitted a memorandum to the local Tahsildar that the 100 acres of land was registered in some other’s name and then went to Nakkapalli and allegedly attacked the Sub-Registrar’s office. They had also allegedly attacked the Sub-Registrar but this was not confirmed.
