Thico Silks’ special rebate for Onam

THANJAVUR: Thirubuvanam Silk Handloom Weavers Co-operative Society Limited, popularly called Thico Silks has announced a special rebate of 10 per cent plus the usual rebate of 10 per cent totally 20 per cent in view of the Onam festival.

The 20 per cent rebate is available for saris purchased from September 3 to September 12 said a press release issued here by the society on Tuesday.

New designs that were being sold now were Apasara silk saris, Pavithra, Yasodha Kanna, Kundavai, Mural and College collections.

The price ranges from Rs.3,500 to Rs.45,000.

The sales target for the year 2008-09 has been set as Rs.36 crore.

Till August 2008, Rs.16.07 crore sales has been done by the society.
