New load shedding schedule

CHENNAI: Load shedding is being implemented in two phases, from noon to 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. to 9 p.m., from September 4 in Perumbakkam, Medavakkam, Kilkattalai, Kandanchavadi, Kovilambakkam, Nanmangalam, Chitlapakkam, Jalladampettai, Pallikaranai and parts of Sholinganallur and Semmencheri.

The Tamil Nadu Electricity Board (TNEB) has also made some changes in the load shedding schedule in a few other areas. According to a press release, the load shedding would be from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. in Perungudi Industrial Estate, Neelankarai, Uthandi, Kottivakkam, Perungudi and Okkiam Thoraipakkam instead of 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
