** Down’s Syndrome is a disorder some people are born with. It was mentioned as Down Syndrome in the seventh paragraph of an AP report “McCain nominated, Palin steals the show” (“International” page, September 5, 2008). ** The caption of a standalone AFP photograph (September 3, 2008, page 1) titled “Succour from skies” was “Still Marooned: Villagers gather flood relief material dropped by Indian Air Force copters at Kumarkhad in Madhubani district of Bihar on Tuesday. A large part of the State is under water, with over three lakh people still awaiting rescue.” Kumarkhand, and not Kumarkhad as published, is in Madhepura district.
