Raghuram scalps five

TIRUCHI: Raghuram scalped five wickets as Saranathan Engineering College defeated Government College of Engineering (Tirunelveli) by three wickets and booked a place in the semifinals of the Anna University inter-zone cricket tournament here on Friday.

The scores (quarterfinals):

Government College of Engineering (T’veli) 107 in 24 overs (Raghuram five for 19) lost to Saranathan Engineering 108 for seven in 24.3 overs.

Sethu Engineering 150 for eight in 25 overs (Chandru 50) bt RMK Engineering 93 for nine in 25 overs.

Madurai Zone 128 for seven in 25 overs lost to Chennai Zone 129 for eight in 24.1 overs (Sanjay Christopher 53).
