Koushik shines

DINDIGUL: J. Koushik’s six-wicket haul was the highlight of Coimbatore’s thumping 10-wicket win over Villupuram in the TNCA under-14 inter-district cricket tournament here on Friday.

The scores: At Dindigul: Villupuram 26 in 11.1 overs (J. Koushik six for 15, Rushab Bafna four for 10) lost to Coimbatore 27 for no loss in 8.4 overs. (Coimbatore secured a bonus point.); Tuticorin 62 in 30.4 overs (M.A.B. Mohammed Abdullah five for nine) lost to Dindigul 63 for three in 26.2 overs (S.A. Mohammed Muzamil 31 n.o.). (Dindigul secured a bonus point).

At Tiruvarur: Nilgris 68 in 24.3 overs (S. Saravanan four for six, Vignesh Kumar three for 16) lost to Tiruvarur 69 for no loss in 8.2 overs (Adhinathan 42 n.o.).
