BJP sankalp yatra to cover Adilabad

ADILABAD: The sankalp yatra organised by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will be held in Adilabad district between September 28 and 30. BJP leaders district general secretary Suresh Joshi, secretary Durgam Rajeshwar and Uday Kumar told newsmen on Satruday that the yatra led by party State president Bandaru Dattatreya and chairman of the BJP’s committee on Telangana Ch. Vidyasagar Rao and other national and State leaders will enter the district at the temple town of Basar On September 28. The leaders will address public meetings at various places.

On September 21, about 2,000 SC/STs from Adilabad district will participate in a dharna at New Delhi being organised by the party to oppose the proposed reservation for Dalit Christians, the leaders informed.
